(PUI)
There is a moment I have always loved — the one where someone takes a first bite and their whole face softens. That moment is why I do this. It is why, after years working in hospitality and travelling across 22 countries, I still feel the same quiet joy every time I set a table.
I grew up in Bangkok, where food is an act of love and care. I carried that with me through hotel management, restaurants, private yacht charter, catering, and private events — learning that what people remember is never just what they ate, but how they felt sitting down to it.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of curating private dining events and catering experiences that bring Thai flavours to unexpected places. One of my favourite things is pairing Thai food with South African wine — a Pinotage alongside Thai BBQ Pork or a rich Lamb Massaman Curry, its smoky depth meeting the bold spice of the dish. Or a Cape Chenin Blanc with a fragrant Tom Yum Soup. Two cultures, one table, something new.
OneTable is my dream. Not a restaurant — something more personal than that. A home-style setting where guests come simply to eat, to slow down, and to let me do the cooking. The menu is mine to choose, rooted in the Thai food I grew up with, made from scratch with care. One group, one sitting, at a table that feels like it was set just for them.
There is nothing I love more than watching people eat well and feel welcome. That is the whole point of OneTable.
